Grace Moore Senior Citizens Center-August Birthdays
The monthly birthday dinner
was held at the Grace Moore
Senior Citizens Center on
Wednesday, August 14,
2013. Tribal Elders celebrating
their birthdays in August
were: Beverly Wakeman,
Nancy Herrick, Renae
Jones and Linda Allen. The
staff fixed a fine meal of oven
baked chicken, mashed
potatoes, gravy, mandarin
orange salad, fresh baked
bread and angel food caked
with strawberry-rhubarb topping
and whipped cream.
Although it wasn’t part of
the party, but a service to
provide health services was
there too. Marie Schmit,
FSST Wellness Center, was
on hand to check blood pressures
and blood sugar levels.
This service is provided once
a month at the Center.
The staff that plans, cook
meals, prepares desserts and
shops for birthday gifts are:
Gayle Soward-Director, Sally
Allen-Cook and Sharon
Maras-Volunteer. Thanks
staff for all you work and
kindness. We appreciate it!
ATTENTION
In recent months the Hotel has experienced numerous
damages in guest rooms. Consequently, a $50.00 security
deposit is required of cash/check-paying guests who stay
at the Hotel. At check-out, housekeeping will inspect the
room, if there are no damages, the guest will be refunded
their security deposit.
