Jumeirah Carlton Tower is situated in the heart of fashionable Knightsbridge and located at walking distance from the prestigious Harrods
and Harvey Nichols department stores and the luxury designer boutiques lining Sloane Street down to Sloane Square. A short taxi ride
takes you to The City, London’s financial centre, and the popular West End. The city’s attractions such as Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace,

History
The Carlton Tower first opened its doors in 1961. Managed by the Hotel Corporation of America, the hotel was the first modern five-star
property to open in Knightsbridge and was a dramatic departure from the traditional approach to hotel-keeping in London. In December,
2001, Jumeirah assumed management of the Carlton Tower and re-branded the hotel ‘Jumeirah Carlton Tower’ on June 21st, 2005.
Structure and Design
Jumeirah Carlton Tower overlooks the private gardens of Cadogan Place with
spectacular views over London’s skyline. This stylish and elegant hotel has recently
completed a refurbishment to 92 rooms and suites by UK design team Hunt,
Hamilton, Zuch as well as the completion of six brand new luxury suites created
by world renowned interior designer Kuan Chew, who designed the world famous
Burj Al Arab.

The Rib Room & Bar
Situated on the ground floor, The award-winning Rib Room & Oyster Bar, established
in 1961, is renowned for serving the most tender Aberdeen Angus Beef and all that is
traditional in British cuisine, whilst keeping apace with the modern dining demands.
The restaurant’s elegant environment is the ideal location to start off the day, whilst
experiencing the best English breakfast London has to offer, while its lunch and dinner
menus provide a diverse and delectable selection guaranteed to tantalise the tastebuds.
During lunch and dinner, The Rib Room transforms into a mesmerizing restaurant
that has been gastronomically inspiring for 30 years.
The lively Rib Bar provides a traditional yet sophisticated club like ambience perfect
for pre-dinner or after-dinner drinks.
The Club Room
The Club Room at The Peak, located on the ninth floor, is a non-smoking area and
serves a wide range of healthy meals, a nutritious balanced lunch buffet, delicious
fruit juices, smoothies and frozen yoghurts as well as champagnes, wines, beers and
spirits.
It is the ideal place to meet friends for an informal lunch or to unwind after a strenuous
work-out. Guests can relax on comfortable sofas whilst enjoying the panoramic views of
the city and the gardens of Cadogan Place. Plasma TVs and a selection of newspapers
and magazines are provided for guests.
Chinoiserie
The Chinoiserie is located in the lobby and is the heart of Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
An elegant lounge, with a sophisticated, classic-contemporary décor is the perfect
place to enjoy light meals and beverages throughout the day. With its comfortable
armchairs and sofas it is the ideal venue to enjoy traditional afternoon tea whilst being

GILT Champagne Lounge
This fabulous lounge promises the ultimate in sophistication and glamour, with just
a hint of decadence, offering fine Champagne and decedent interiors to the refined
and discerning bar-flies of the metropolis.
Champagnes are imported from the Domaine Pommery in France and interiors such
as a 1940’s replica brass door, a hand selected white Onyx bar top from the Italian
quarries in Pisa, enormous hand cast glass Champagne bowl, custom made metal
floors from India as well as hand blown glass screens made up of an incredible 4,500
glass balls and a stunning Chandelier made of 140 large Murano glass spheres created
by New York artist, Susan Etkins.
