Annual Toy Drive By: Cindy Hayworth
The holidays are approaching and we will be
having our annual Toy Drive for underprivileged
children in Palm Springs. We do this in
conjunction with the Palm Springs Fire Department
and have had wonderful success in
previous years. The guys at the fire department
are so appreciative, as are the families
we are able to help. Be thinking of others
when you are out shopping this season and
you might find things on sale. Don‟t forget
the teens and pre-teens too. Please bring
your toys to the Lodge starting November 6,
2010. Thank you for your generosity.
Fun and Fitness

Dan Donahue will be giving a fitness
equipment demonstration at our Open
House on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
If you have been planning to get in shape
before the holidays or plan to eat yourself
silly on Thanksgiving and then come down
to work it off, now is the time to join Dan
in the Fitness Center for some instruction on the use of the equipment
and develop a workout plan with an experienced personal
trainer. This is a free service so take advantage of his knowledge
and skill. Walk in for your own individual talk and lesson from
Dan.
