MEETING MINUTES – ROUTE <strong>66</strong> CORVETTE CLUB Monthly Meeting January 5, 2006 Culpepper’s Restaurant, O Fallon, Missouri President, Rik Thompson called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. He introduced the officers: Vice President, Gary Schiermeyer, Governor: Tom Reitz, Treasurer: Chris Reitz, Secretary: Jo Ann Viviano Members in attendance are: Dale Van Deven, Karen Brooks & Randy Moore, Charlie&Jackie Miget, Noel & CJ Wilson, Steve Wiechens, Carl & Ester Young, Susan & Randy Strube, Trendt Francis, Linda Eriksen,Charlotte Kahle, John & Mary Morak, Tony & Jo Ann Viviano Jeff Anderson, Rik Thompson, Dominic & Barb Pisciotta, Joe Anelle, Ellen & Jeff Meywes, Jim & Tammy Martin, Ron Reinhardt, Tom & Chris Reitz, Scott Walker, Gary Schiermeyer, Tracy Bice, Gary Wren, Paul & Bridget Balkenbush, Marc Gottfried, Jim Marquis, Bob Lamb and Gary Wren. Treasurers Report: Chris Reitz reported we have 61 members. The club has $3,430.94 bank balance. Governors Report: Tom Reitz reported the next Governors meeting is Feb. 25 th at the Sheraton Westport. Final MWR Points: <strong>Club</strong>: <strong>Route</strong> <strong>66</strong> placed 4 th out of 33 clubs Women: Chris Reitz - 4 th Place w/815pts. Bridget Balkenbush – 10 th Place Charlote Kahle - 34 th Place Men: Tom Reitz – 3 rd Place w/830pts. Paul Balkenbush – 12 th Gary Wren – 41 st Rod McCoy – 59 th NCCC Membership Packets should be in the mail shortly. NCCC MWR “Permanent Numbers” Forms Numbers due: Postmarked between Jan.15 th thru Feb.15 th , 2006. The fee is $10.00 per member. Tom Reitz has forms w/ 2005 numbers on back. Helmets for 2006 must be SNELL 2000 and/or dated less than 10 years old by SNELL rating. Conventions: 2006: Orlando, Florida (Disney World) 2007: Nashville, Tennessee 2008: Tulsa, Oklahoma NCCC Midwest Region has hosted the most sanctioned events of any region in 2005 w/156 events. Florida Region was 2 nd with 146 events Labor Day 2005, we donated 2 sanctions to the weekend, in July, so the proceeds went to the region. The proceeds after expenses were $527.00. I am working on getting those sanctions for Labor Day 2006. This time the club would get the proceeds. I would like to get the clubs approval to do this. Jeff Anderson made a motion for approval. Dominic Pisciotta seconded the motion. Motion passed with no opposition. Vice-Presidents Report: Gary Schiermeyer reported that he will be in charge of points for the club members and to be sure to turn all points in to him.. Gary gave the floor to Jeff Anderson for a report on the Annual Transition Meeting, the clubs first. The purpose of this meet is to help new officers take over their new duties and familiarize them with the rules and by-laws.
