Do not, at any times, reverse the position of the pumping elements in the fork legs (if you are unsure about anything, please refer
to the relevant exploded view).
Assembling: Assembling the cartridge
Insert the spring bushing (6) in the cartridge rod.
Insert spring (4) in the cartridge rod.
Insert plate (3) in the cartridge rod and position it as shown in the picture.
Screw down locknut (2) and the preload pin (1) on the cartridge rod.
Fix the cartridge rod in the vice using the 8mm jaws supplied.
Holding locknut (2) with the 10mm key, use the 8mm key to tighten the preload pin (1) to the
recommended tightening torque (6 Nm ± 1).
Let locknut (2) rest on the preload pin (1).
