PASG
The Frog Prince
Prince Ferdia has a problem. He is gradually turning into a frog and only the love
of a princess can break the spell. Maggie, the Woman Who Lives in a Shoe, also has
problems. Her evil landlord Baron Graspalot wants to evict her. Will Ferdia find his
princess before he goes green or will Maggie’s daughter Fiona distract him from
his quest? To find out book now for PASG’s heart-warming, hilarious pantomime.
Directed by Jaimie Carswell, with script by Maeve Ingoldsby and choreography by
Paula McGurrell, this year’s panto in the Black Box is not to be missed.
Renmore’s 31st Annual Pantomime launches the
spectacular adventures of poor, kind-hearted ‘Mother
Goose’ whose cottage is targeted by the evil Baxter
Banker as the site for his new Super-Bank.
His plans are thwarted when her magical goose starts
to lay golden eggs. However, she loses her personal
share of the ‘Celtic Tiger’ by exchanging her Goose for
the chance to become young and beautiful. Through
many comical and topical twists, Baxter, assisted by his
devious daughter and two political jokers, meet their
match in Fairy Harney; Gordon Goose marries Feena
Gale and Goodness wins out with laughter and song in
the best pantomime tradition.
Scripted by Panto Dame, Peter Kennedy who plays
‘Mother Goose’, it also features a host of talented
Galway performers, stunning dance routines, sparkling
sets & costumes and the delightful little Renmore
Smurfs. This superb family entertainment is directed by
Brian & Seán Power.
Something always goes wrong when
putting on a play. Arguments, Money,
Romance. You’re lucky if it’s just
one thing. So at times it’s good to
remember you’re Playing at Plays.
