Johnson then recounted efforts to<br />
attract developers to ANE with direct<br />
mailings, ads in publications, and participation<br />
in conferences. In June,<br />
MAC solicited “statements of interest,”<br />
and received 11 concepts from<br />
five developers. Most of the interest<br />
is in the 26-acre site located outside<br />
the airport fence, southwest of the airfield.<br />
MAC and the City of Blaine<br />
have talked about non-aviation development.<br />
