COURSE OVERVIEW<br />
AND OBJECTIVES<br />
The educational goal <strong>of</strong> this program is to update<br />
practicing ophthalmologists on high quality educational<br />
activities that impart new knowledge and teach new skills.<br />
Emphasis will be placed on practical management issues<br />
and surgical techniques.<br />
Upon completion <strong>of</strong> the program, participants should<br />
be able to:<br />
• Review and discuss the latest advances in<br />
glaucoma diagnostics<br />
• Discuss the therapeutic options in glaucoma<br />
•Provide an overview <strong>of</strong> how other diseases influence<br />
glaucoma<br />
• Apply the results <strong>of</strong> recent multi-centered trials using<br />
evidenced-based medicine<br />
