other adaptations become necessary.
• Prevent or reduce other external forest
health stressors: deer, invasive pests,
invasive plants, earthworms.
• Limit size of wildfires; create fire breaks.
• Use thinning to control stand density so
trees can survive drought.
• Use ERF to buildup stored “carbon”.
