The dove of Football Quinting
‘The unique thing which deserves fighting is the Peace’, says Pascal Berclaz, President of
Quinting. It is the reason why Quinting had created his own messenger of the peace: the
watch called the Dove of Football, which represents 192 unique pieces.
Value CHF 35.000

This chronograph will remember every days to the man who wears it the four following
symbols:
- 1st symbole : Fighting during 59 minutes to obtain 1 minute of peace.
The dove of Football is a symbolize piece because it wears the universal effigy of the
peace. Two doves are engraved on sapphires‘s rotated discs. Dint the mechanism,
which is constituted with fixed and mobile transparent sapphires glasses, the
engraving of these 2 doves is made on the hour’s sapphire and the minutes’
sapphires. Like this, the 2 doves turn with different speeds and become one every
hour. It reminds to its owner that it is worthwhile working and fighting during 59
minutes to have one minute of peace.
The 2 doves become
one only one minute
every hour, which
symbolizes the
Perfect Peace.
- 2nd symbole : The peace is the work of the democraties.
The dove of Football is a transparency watch, which represents 192 unique pieces,
equal to the number of the members countries of UNO. For each member country
matches a unique piece. Beyond, every piece wears on the case of the watch a
number which made references to the entrance date of the country in the UNO.

This dove is the piece number 190. It
corresponds to Switzerland, the 190th
country which is entered in UNO among
the 192 member countries.
The number of the piece
matches to the number which
is attributed to the country
when it entered in ONU.
Serial number Country Date of entrance in UNO
1 USA October 24, 1945
4 Brazil October 24, 1945
18 Saudi Arabia October 24, 1945
22 China October 24, 1945
- 3rd symbole : The man is the builder of the peace and of a better humanity.
Trough the 2 doves, we see the man who wears the watch. It symbolizes that it is this
man who is the builder of the peace and a better humanity. Every piece is engraved (on
the side of the case) with the blood group of its owner because most of the time the
History is written with blood.
Blood group
The transparency of the watch
symbolizes that the man who
wears it is an actor of the peace,
the builder of a better humanity.
- 4th symbole : The football is the hyphen between men.
The football is the most popular sport of the world. It is a very strong instrument which
permits speaking to the world and touching it. According to Mr Joseph.S. Blatter,
President of FIFA, « We always think that someone will do something for the peace ».
Today this person is Pascal Berclaz, President of Quinting, who assemblies with the Dove
of Football the 4 fundamentals symboles in order to the man who will wear this watch
will be the messenger of the peace.
