The purpose of this session is to provide both practitioners and students<br />

with a clinical guide which is will be a useful reference in everyday<br />

contact lens practice. This workshop exclusively addresses common day<br />

to day challenging patient situation. This session is intended to increase<br />

the knowledge of trouble shooting problems in day to day practice.<br />

<strong>Contact</strong> lens specialists have always recognized the importance of<br />

contact lens fitting in pre post surgical corneas and irregular corneas.<br />

Because these corneas may be affected by pre existing diseases,<br />

degeneration, or the after effects of surgery, contact lens fitting requires<br />

the utmost skill and dedication. The current scenario of<br />

customers/patients expectations is to have a closer proximity of their<br />

visiting doctors / Eye care practitioners. Having knowledge and skill in<br />

fitting irregular corneas is like adding feather to your cap to attract more<br />

patients to your practice.<br />

Eligibility : Minimum 2 years or 4 years, diploma or degree in optometry<br />
