The Lister Metropolis Laboratory and Suyog Diagnostics Pvt Ltd, among the
premium diagnostic laboratories in the city, conducted a topical CME (continuing
medical education) seminar on the critical area of ‘Coagulation’ at the Lister
Metropolis facility on July 28 th , 2013. The event, conducted as an initiative
towards better understanding, knowledge sharing and interaction on the subject,
witnessed enthusiastic participation by Senior Technicians from diagnostic
laboratories and demonstration of the latest diagnostic aids and equipment by
representatives from the manufacturing companies.
Participants from the Sri Nathella Sampathu Chetty Clinical Laboratory (Sankara
Nethralaya Main Laboratory) displayed superior subject knowledge and
awareness by winning laurels at the Quiz Contest and ‘Paper Presentation’ events
at the meet. While R.Rajalakshmi won the First prize in the closely contested quiz
competition, TS.Saumya won the ‘Outstanding Paper Presentation’ award for her
well researched and in-depth paper on the subject, titled “HEAMOSTASIS”
