RRF<strong>ID</strong>-technology:<br />
payments,<br />

health, <strong>for</strong> customer retention<br />
or access generation <strong>for</strong> employees and staff members.<br />
The chip module, the data carrier of the contact chip card<br />
whose position is internationally standardized in ISO 7816,<br />
can be read or written by the contact surface. Functions<br />
and types go from basic chips which can only be written<br />
to operating system-based, highly complex processor<br />
chips resp. smart <strong>cards</strong> with integrated encryptions.<br />
Besides the storage <strong>for</strong> the operating system, the embedded<br />
chip in processor chip <strong>cards</strong> has also a CPU and<br />
an EE-PROM <strong>for</strong> the data encoding. The chip operating<br />
system controls and divides these resources in terms<br />
of data transfer, -processing and storage management.<br />
