premium range of PrimeLine weatherboards from James
Hardie.
The key to the style of PrimeLine weatherboards is a revolutionary new manufacturing
process that mills the surface of the board to create profiles with fine detailed lines and
shadow effects.
There are three pre-primed PrimeLine weatherboard profiles:
The latest addition to the range is the PrimeLine Newport, which has the smooth
surface and recessed edge of a classic 5-inch wide weatherboard.
PrimeLine Summit has a slender, beaded edge, a strong lap line and a smooth face,
in the style of traditional weatherboards.
PrimeLine Heritage has the fine lines of elegant milled weatherboards. It combines two
boards in a special double-board width, so it covers a greater area, faster.
All profiles are pre-primed and 9mm thick, producing deep shadow lines on the wall
surfaces and enhancing the street appeal of the finished house.

NOW THERE IS A FAST WAY TO ACHIEVE A STYLE
Thanks to the new HardiLock fixing system, the PrimeLine
Summit and Newport weatherboards are better looking and
easy to install. The PrimeLine Heritage* can already be
installed quickly, thanks to its two-in-one profile.
• HardiLock Spline
The HardiLock concealed fixing system involves a PVC HardiLock spline fitted
into the back of the boards. Each HardiLock spline fits neatly over the lower board
and "locks" into position, concealing all nails and fastenings.
To complement the new fixing system, James Hardie also has new Snap-on and
Variable Corner accessories, to ensure a perfect finish for your home.
With faster installation, reduced nailing and less wastage, the HardiLock system
can contribute to big savings on the cost of a house.
By combining the popular PrimeLine weatherboards with completely concealed
fastenings, James Hardie has created beautiful weatherboards, with benefits and

Warranty James Hardie Australia Pty Limited (the “Company”) warrants that its PrimeLine Weatherboard, HardiPlank Cladding
and PanelClad external cladding products will not for 35 years rot, warp, burn or be affected by termites on the condition they are
installed in accordance with relevant Company literature current at the time of installation. If any of its products are so defective, the
Company will, at its option, either supply replacement products or reimburse the purchaser for the purchase price.
The recommendations detailed in brochures produced by the Company are formulated along the lines of good building practice.
However, they are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of all the relevant data. Further, as the success of the projects
depends on factors outside the Company’s control (e.g. quality of workmanship, particular design, detail requirements, etc), the
Company accepts no responsibility for, or in connection with, the quality of the projects or their suitability when completed. Such
