PrimeLine Heritage
BUILD A MORE BEAUTIFUL HOME
Imagine a weatherboard that can make your home design look
better, whether it’s contemporary, a casual beach house or a
country cottage. That's the design power you have with the
premium range of PrimeLine weatherboards from James
Hardie.
The key to the style of PrimeLine weatherboards is a revolutionary new manufacturing
process that mills the surface of the board to create profiles with fine detailed lines and
shadow effects.
There are three pre-primed PrimeLine weatherboard profiles:
The latest addition to the range is the PrimeLine Newport, which has the smooth
surface and recessed edge of a classic 5-inch wide weatherboard.
PrimeLine Summit has a slender, beaded edge, a strong lap line and a smooth face,
in the style of traditional weatherboards.
PrimeLine Heritage has the fine lines of elegant milled weatherboards. It combines two
boards in a special double-board width, so it covers a greater area, faster.
All profiles are pre-primed and 9mm thick, producing deep shadow lines on the wall
surfaces and enhancing the street appeal of the finished house.
PrimeLine Weatherboards
NOW THERE IS A FAST WAY TO ACHIEVE A STYLE
Thanks to the new HardiLock fixing system, the PrimeLine
Summit and Newport weatherboards are better looking and
easy to install. The PrimeLine Heritage* can already be
installed quickly, thanks to its two-in-one profile.
• HardiLock Spline
The HardiLock concealed fixing system involves a PVC HardiLock spline fitted
into the back of the boards. Each HardiLock spline fits neatly over the lower board
and "locks" into position, concealing all nails and fastenings.
To complement the new fixing system, James Hardie also has new Snap-on and
Variable Corner accessories, to ensure a perfect finish for your home.
With faster installation, reduced nailing and less wastage, the HardiLock system
can contribute to big savings on the cost of a house.
By combining the popular PrimeLine weatherboards with completely concealed
fastenings, James Hardie has created beautiful weatherboards, with benefits and
cost- savings for both homeowners and their builders.
*PrimeLine Heritage does not have concealed fixing.
GIVE YOUR HOME A DISTINCTIVE EDGE
Whether you are building a contemporary or traditional home,
the rich, textured finish of PanelClad sheets can add beauty
both inside and out.
Choose from two different finishes, PanelClad Stucco and TextureLine.
Stucco has a hand-trowelled, cement rendered finish that recalls the warm, casual style
of the Mediterranean.
The striking rough-hewn board and batten surface of TextureLine creates detailed
shadow effects that owe more to the rugged look of band-sawn timber.
With PanelClad sheets, you can create whole walls of interest or emphasise design
features such as gable ends and second-storey additions.
Hardiflex Eaves Sheets
COST-EFFICIENT TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR YOUR HOME
Including eaves in your design can dramatically reduce the impact
that the sun, wind and rain will have on your home.
To help you enjoy all the benefits that eaves can offer, flexible, durable, low maintenance
Hardiflex eaves sheet is produced in special widths, to make it easy to incorporate eaves
into your home design.
If they are correctly positioned, Hardiflex lined eaves can save you money on heating,
cooling and maintenance, and make your home more comfortable.
In summer, Hardiflex lined eaves will keep your home cooler by shading walls and windows.
Hardiflex lined eaves will also shelter windows, doors and other painted surfaces, so they
require less maintenance and upkeep. And keeping direct sunlight out of the rooms will
protect valuable carpets, curtains and other furnishings from the fading effects of direct
sunlight. Eaves also shelter windows from rain, so you can keep them open and enjoy fresh
air, whatever the weather.
From a design aspect, including Hardiflex eaves sheets on your house can add style and
distinction to the most simple design. By offering protection from the sun, Hardiflex lined
eaves can also increase the options of where you can place your house on a particular block
of land.
