Notes to the Financial Statements For the financial year ended 31 March 2011 21. New SB-FRS and interpretations not yet adopted The Polytechnic has not applied the following accounting standards (including its consequential amendments) and interpretations that have been issued as of the balance sheet date but are not yet effective: • Amendments to FRS 24 – Related party disclosures (effective for annual periods beginning on or after 1 January 2011) The Polytechnic is evaluating the initial application of the above standards and interpretations for the impact on the Polytechnic’s financial statements. The Polytechnic has not considered the impact of accounting standards issued after the reporting date. 22.
