Have you submitted an application for<br />
admission? Apply online at www.wnc.edu.<br />
— TAKE PLACEMENT TESTS<br />
Every student planning to register for<br />
English and math courses must take<br />
placement tests in reading, writing, and<br />
math (or submit ACT/SAT scores).<br />
— MEET WITH A COUNSELOR<br />
Counselors review test scores and help<br />
students plan their academic schedules,<br />
career exploration, job search techniques,<br />
and educational training requirements.<br />
— APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID<br />
Many students are eligible for some type of<br />
financial assistance. Apply online as soon<br />
as possible.<br />
— REGISTER FOR CLASSES<br />
After testing is completed and you have met<br />
with a counselor, register online for classes.<br />
— ATTEND AN ORIENTATION<br />
See the counseling and orientation section<br />
for dates/times.<br />
— PAY BY THE DEADLINE<br />
Pay fees for fall semester by Friday, Aug. 24,<br />
to ensure that your classes are not dropped.
