Kenwood’s excitingly wide range of in-car entertainment systems – available in 

1-DIN and 2-DIN units to fit the broadest variety of car models – goes all the way 

from simple add-on rear entertainment units to the ultimate all-in-one AV centre. 

Better yet, these high-performance in-dash DVD/monitor receivers are easily upgraded 

with the addition of an advanced Kenwood navigation system. 

AVN 

Enjoy the ultimate entertainment of Kenwood’s All-in-one Dual DIN Navigation 

DNX7200. It features Full-map Navigation, Audio, Video, and Radio Tuner in a single 

body, to match all your needs. What’s more, by using the optional KCA-iP300V, you 

can control your iPod on the headunit via USB. Better yet, it offers seamless fitting 

with the car interior, and extreme ease of installation without a hide-away box.

HIGH SPEED iPod CONNECTION 

Compatible with iPod video, nano, and 5G iPod, experience high speed control 

with USB 2.0 Direct connection. USB 2.0 Direct Connection enables USB protocol 

high-speed data communications of 12m/bps. Utilizing a brand-new Graphic User 

Interface and touch panel, you can easily control your iPod. In addition to the 

search function, there is also Album art display, a short cut bar, and 4 Line text 

display offering you the most convenient operation. 

USB INTERFACE 

Models featuring USB port enable connection to portable USB Mass Storage players, 

USB thumb drivers and audio control of MP3 players. A single or multi-slot 

card reader can also be connected to the USB port, allowing your music to be put 

neatly into different types of memory cards. What’s more, the USB device is also 

recharged while it is connected to the port. 

SKIN CHANGE / WALL PAPER CUSTOMISE 

Skin Change - Kenwood’s new visual system offers you 3 types of skin change 

(Glass / Metal / Water) which can easily be changed by pressing the SKIN button. 

Wall paper customise - Bring your favourite images to your car, and customise 

your wall paper via the USB port. Now it is possible to change the wall paper of 

your display to your favourite pictures or images. Even better, you can store a 

maximum of 3 images in the main unit.

iPod ALBUM ART 

The iPod Album Art function enables to the display of album art which is attached to 

the song, on the main screen. With this user friendly function, you can browse your 

favorite artist’s artwork on 7” Wide monitor. 

EASY OPERATION (4 Line Text Display / Music Browser / Short Cut Bar) 

When iPod or USB devices are connected via USB, 4 Line text is displayed for easy operation, 

while the Music Browser function searches Tag information on the connected devices, and 

sorts into orders by Genre, Artist, Album, and Title automatically. In addition the Short cut 

bar function allows quick search from huge library of compressed music files. 

DivX ® READY 

DivX ® is a major format that is often used in home electronics equipment, saving around 8 

hours of video data in a single DVD disc. Kenwood’s new visual systems are all compatible 

with this DivX ® format.

REVERSE TILT MECHANISM 

Depending on the vehicle, in-car monitors are installed in a variety of heights and angles, 

and this sometimes results in reduced visibility due to reflected glare from sunlight. 

In particular, vehicles such as RVs with high mounting positions suffer from this problem. 

Kenwood’s solution is the newly developed reverse tilt mechanism: in addition to the 

traditional tilt mechanism that allows the bottom of the monitor to be tilted forward 

over 5 positions, the reverse tilt also allows the top of the monitor to tilt forward to 

eliminate reflected glare. 

NEW, FULL-AUTO “ZACTION” TV MECHANISM 

The display automatically slides out, rises to your ideal viewing angle (8 presets) and 

then retracts horizontally to your chosen viewing distance (4 presets) – a distinctive 

Z-shaped motion that gives rise to the Zaction name. Featuring a slimmer design, the 

unique Zaction mechanism allows installation in a wider range of vehicles. 

REAR-VIEW CAMERA READY 

For adding rear-view camera to your system, a dedicated RCA video input is available 

on new Kenwood In-dash monitor systems. When selecting reverse gear, the system 

detects the signal from reverse line and automatically switches to view from the camera. 

It even features a horizontal image flip function to provide a mirror view and give 

the driver a correctly-oriented image of the rear camera view.

BLUETOOTH READY 

Kenwood’s new hands-free mobile phone unit is based on Bluetooth wireless 

technology and allows safe communication while driving without removing 

your hands from the steering wheel. Connection of the unit to a BT H/F compatible 

headunit provides clear phone communication 

— you talk into the microphone while listening to the other party through the 

front speakers of the car audio system. The headunit displays information such 

as the name and status of the other party, signal strength, remaining battery 

power, and more. The unit can register up to 5 BT-compatible mobile phones 

(simultaneous use of more than one phone is not available) and download 

individual phone books for them. 

INDEPENDENT MIDPOINT CIRCUIT 

This system unifies the midpoint voltage that arise differece in every part, which is the demerit of car audio that uses DC power supply, by 

preparing exclusive circuit. It realises the production of the musical signal that was stable at high purity from the entry to the output without 

undergoing influence by the voltage difference or the power generation / electricity supply of car itself by the operation status of each part.

Kenwood navigation systems not only guide you to where you want to go, they make it easy to get the information, 

too. Packed with cutting-edge technologies (powered by Garmin), these systems connect with any of Kenwood’s 

touch screen products for easier operation and sure guidance with detailed, high-legibility map display. 

MAP DATA COVERAGE 

Kenwood navigation systems store detailed road data for virtually all of Europe. The 33 countries covered include Andorra, Austria, Belgium, 

Bulgaria, Croatia, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, 

Luxembourg, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, The Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain,

TTS (TEXT TO SPEECH) FUNCTION 

TTS function reads out not only directions, but also the street names during voice guidance when making a turn. This function is compatible with 

7 Languages including English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Swedish. 

AUTO ZOOM FUNCTION 

When the vehicle comes to a crossroads, the Auto Zoom function automatically 

magnifies the map display. Also the turn list display helps you by checking 

your overall route, showing distance to your destination, estimated drive 

and arrival time, and turn by turn instructions.

TOUCH SCREEN CONTROL 

Simply touching the large, logical on-screen icons gives easy, positive system 

control. Thanks to its intuitive operation, touch screen control is superior to 

any other command interface. 

CHOICE OF LANGUAGE 

The screen display and voice guidance systems are compatible with a total 

of eleven languages (English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, 

Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish). Of these, seven (English, 

Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) are TTS (Text To 

Speech) capable, using voice guidance to read street names aloud. 

DESTINATION SEARCH 

Just press the “Where To?” key to begin searching for your destination. 

The six search modes available are: (1) Address (including Post code 

search), (2) Food & Hotel (Points Of Interest), (3) Streets & Cities (including 

intersections and motorway exits), (4) Browse Map (touch and drag directly 

on the map), (5) My Locations (Memory Points), (6) Recent Finds (up to 50 

previously searched locations). 

TRIP COMPUTER AND GPS INFORMATION DISPLAY 

The Trip Computer can be used to record and display current speed, average 

speed, maximum speed, and moving and stationary time. The GPS 

Information Display function shows current status of the GPS receiver and 

satellite, displaying GPS signal strength, satellite position, altitude history 

and elevation information. 

TMC (TRAFFIC MESSAGE CHANNEL) 

The optional TMC unit provides real-time display of traffic conditions on the map. 

What’s more, the system can also recalculate your route to avoid traffic jams according 

to traffic information received.
