Finishing
Sew black beads to powder puff for eyes. Embroider mouth
with embroidery floss. Using artist’s brush, apply a little powdered
blush to cheeks; blend well. Push loop stitches of hair
forward around face. Sew gathering area of part of the hat to
the hair stitches only on the back ring, leaving the bottom of
the back ring open. Arrange ruffles on hat. With needle and
thread, sew the button to the end of the strap on the 2nd and
3rd from the last trc’s. Insert strap between the rings. Button
closed, using the space between the 1st and 2nd trc’s as a buttonhole.
Sew 1” ring to the back of the hat for hanging.
