All existing sensors or extensometers can be<<strong>br</strong> />

connected to the new control system. They<<strong>br</strong> />

all will be upgraded with sensor plugs with<<strong>br</strong> />

transducer coding (SGS). This enables to store<<strong>br</strong> />

all information (as capacity, measuring range,<<strong>br</strong> />

cali<strong>br</strong>ation etc.) from the connected transducer<<strong>br</strong> />

with self-identifi cation <strong>of</strong> it. The system can<<strong>br</strong> />

be expanded in order that the existing extensometers<<strong>br</strong> />

can be linked.<<strong>br</strong> />

For machines equipped with hydraulic grips<<strong>br</strong> />

w+b <strong>of</strong>fers new hydraulic power supplies<<strong>br</strong> />

with grip control system allowing an independent<<strong>br</strong> />

control <strong>of</strong> the grips. For parallel grips<<strong>br</strong> />

the clamping force can be adjusted in order<<strong>br</strong> />

to improve better performance on a variety <strong>of</strong><<strong>br</strong> />

specimens thanks to a wide pressure adjustment<<strong>br</strong> />

range. It prevents damage to your specimens<<strong>br</strong> />

from grip or specimen slippage during<<strong>br</strong> />

your tests. The clamping pressure is permanently<<strong>br</strong> />

measured, controlled and shown on a<<strong>br</strong> />
