SIDEWALK & STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT<br />

If a sidewalk exists on your lot, your builder will be required to saw-cut it prior to the construction<br />

of your home. When the driveway slab is placed, the sidewalk shall also be re-built. Homeowner will be<br />

held responsible for any damage done to the sidewalk. Photographs SHALL BE TAKEN BY<br />

HOMEOWNER AND MAY BE taken by the ARC to catalog current sidewalk, curb & pavement<br />

conditions, and the homeowner will certify whether there is or is not existing damage prior to<br />

commencing construction.<br />

It is the responsibility of homeowner and their builder to ensure that storm drainage easement lines<br />

are not driven across, as heavy trucks will damage these pipes. If the lot contains a drainage<br />

easement, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to install silt fence along this property line (that will<br />

remain in place for the duration of construction) to ensure that subcontractors do not inadvertently<br />

drive over these lines.<br />

Plantation, hereby declare that I/We have inspected the sidewalk, curb and<br />

pavement adjoining my lot. I/We hereby certify there IS or IS NOT (circle one)<br />

damage to said improvements and promise to return anything damaged resulting from<br />

this construction to their original condition at the completion of construction to my<br />

home.<br />

If there is damage, identify it herein and also submit digital photos of damage:<br />

In addition, I/We certify that I/We have received a copy of, and have initialed the plat<br />

indicating any easements on my property (copy attached). As homeowner, I/We<br />

understand that I/We am (are) responsible for ensuring the storm drainage lines are<br />

held intact by taking the precautions as set forth above.<br />
