Photo Stuart Robb LEN LYE EXHIBITIONS Art of Its Own Making 13 February – 23 August 2014 Len Lye: Motion Sketch 16 April – 8 June 2014 The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts St. Louis, Missouri, US Len Lye’s Wind Wands 1961, 2013 reconstruction, feature in this group exhibition Art of Its Own Making, which also includes work by Tony Conrad, Hans Haacke, Nam June Paik, Sam Lewitt and Robert Morris. The group of seven Wind Wands, thin fibreglass tubes that move and respond to their open-air atmosphere, will be installed on the Pulitzer’s roof-top bamboo court. The Drawing Center, New York, US Motion Sketch is the first survey of Lye’s practice to be exhibited in New York.
