GENERAL SUMMARY: The <strong>HR</strong> <strong>Operations</strong> <strong>manager</strong> <strong>is</strong> <strong>responsible</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>supporting</strong> <strong>the</strong> design,<br />

development and implementation of organization-wide initiatives. The role <strong>is</strong> also <strong>responsible</strong><br />

<strong>for</strong> developing and <strong>supporting</strong> <strong>HR</strong> operational practices across <strong>the</strong> organization. Th<strong>is</strong> includes<br />

managing <strong>the</strong> <strong>HR</strong> business rhythm, metrics and programs.<br />

Ass<strong>is</strong>ts in <strong>the</strong> planning and implementation of key company/<strong>HR</strong> initiatives. Collaborates with specialty <strong>HR</strong> functions<br />

and corporate support teams to execute programs in a timely and effective manner.<br />

Identifies, coordinates, designs and implement key <strong>HR</strong> projects (planning, project development and problemsolving).<br />

Works cross-functionally to ensure core <strong>HR</strong> processes are effectively designed, documented and implemented <strong>for</strong><br />

sustained and efficient execution. Serve as a resource regarding <strong>HR</strong> policies, procedures; develop, recommend,<br />

and interpret <strong>HR</strong> policies, procedures and processes as necessary<br />

Uses data and key per<strong>for</strong>mance indicators to identify trends and recommend corrective action plans as necessary.<br />

Provides <strong>HR</strong> business partner support to multiple corporate offices located in different U.S. geographies.<br />

Effectively communicate and collaborate across <strong>HR</strong> functions and business leaders on core <strong>HR</strong> functions<br />

(recruitment, selection, per<strong>for</strong>mance management, compliance, etc.).<br />

Support budget management, planning and expenditure control <strong>for</strong> <strong>HR</strong> operations budget.<br />

Monitor leg<strong>is</strong>lation and legal prov<strong>is</strong>ions that may affect <strong>HR</strong> operational processes.<br />

Support diversity initiatives to include communication rhythms and programs.<br />

Provide analytics and analyses on key Human Resource metrics.<br />

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: The <strong>HR</strong> <strong>Operations</strong> Manager has regular and on-going<br />

interaction with multiple internal stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include <strong>HR</strong> centers of<br />

excellence (Talent Development (Learning and Development, Talent Management), Talent<br />

Acqu<strong>is</strong>ition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.), o<strong>the</strong>r functional leaders (e.g. Legal, Procurement,<br />

Marketing, In<strong>for</strong>mation Technology, Club <strong>Operations</strong>, etc.) and field leaders (div<strong>is</strong>ion president,<br />

regional vice presidents, etc.).<br />

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<br />

1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:<br />

• Strong communication skills including presentation, facilitation and written


• Strong problem solving and persuasion skills<br />

• Superior ability to influence executives and senior <strong>manager</strong>s<br />

• Advanced project management skills<br />

• Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner<br />

2) Minimum certifications/educational level:<br />

4-Year Bachelor degree in business, <strong>HR</strong> or related field<br />

MBA or Masters in Human Resources preferred<br />

P<strong>HR</strong> or SP<strong>HR</strong> preferred<br />

3) Minimum experience:<br />

4-6 years experience Human Resources general<strong>is</strong>t, and/or <strong>HR</strong> Project Management roles<br />

Demonstrated ability to create organizational value, identify strategic priorities and deliver results<br />

Experience collaborating with a diverse work<strong>for</strong>ce that <strong>is</strong> geographically d<strong>is</strong>persed<br />

4) Physical Requirements:<br />

* Business travel required 1-3 times per quarter, typically cons<strong>is</strong>ting of 1-2 days at a time;<br />

travel by plane and/or vehicle as needed<br />
