The <strong>Webdyngate</strong> <strong>Coronis</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong> gateway (<strong>WGE</strong>-E-<strong>COR</strong>) includes a standard <strong>Coronis</strong> Wavecard and all of<br />
the features of a Webdyn <strong>Ethernet</strong> gateway. A Webdyn/<strong>Coronis</strong> gateway offers basic features allowing you to<br />
collect data from <strong>Coronis</strong> sensors (meter, temperature, etc.) and change settings through an <strong>Ethernet</strong> network<br />
using standard tools that support the Wavenis protocol.<br />

The <strong>WGE</strong>-E-<strong>COR</strong> hardware platform has an ultracompact<br />
card that integrates the entire network and<br />
Wavenis interfaces. The <strong>M2M</strong> gateway is equipped<br />
with a <strong>Coronis</strong> Wavecard.<br />

The <strong>Coronis</strong> Webdyn solution enables you to<br />
transparently port any existing application on an<br />
<strong>Ethernet</strong> network using a serial port. Once the<br />
<strong>Webdyngate</strong> gateway retrieves an IP address (static<br />
or dynamic), a connection can be set up between the<br />
remote application and the gateway. If the remote<br />
application does not communicate natively in <strong>Ethernet</strong>,<br />
Webdyn provides redirecting software, Port COM,<br />
which enables you to redirect data to a serial first, and<br />
then to a TCP/IP <strong>Ethernet</strong> port and vice versa. It is<br />
installed above the supervisor software, which does<br />
not need to be modified.<br />

Two types of Wavecards can be integrated into the<br />
<strong>Webdyngate</strong> gateways:<br />
• Low-power 25mw Wavecards (internal<br />
antenna)<br />
• High-power 500mw Wavecards (external<br />

A toolbox is provided with the <strong>Webdyngate</strong> gateway<br />
to configure all of the settings (IP, software version,<br />
etc.).<br />
<strong>Webdyngate</strong> <strong>WGE</strong>-E-<strong>COR</strong> gateways operate in either<br />
“tunnel” or “IP serial “mode. In this mode, a TCP/IP client<br />
server application is set up between the PC (local or<br />
remote) and the gateway. All of the data received on the<br />
TCP port through the gateway is sent to the Wavenis<br />
card’s serial port. In turn, all of the data sent from the<br />
Wavenis card and received on the serial port is sent to the<br />
PC using the same TCP link.<br />
