We are a market leader in the field of damping elements,
maintenance-free vibration and silent oscillation components
for your machines and installations. We gladly present you

catalogue). Our product mix comprises five series which are
referred to by corresponding page references. On page 12
you can find additional information on our special elements
we produce custom-made for you.
The ROSTA company was founded more than 50 years ago
as a one-man firm. Today ROSTA employs some 60 people in
Hunzenschwil (Switzerland), the centre of our activities. In
Hunzenschwil we have a customer service department for
administrative matters, a sales department, a department for
research and development as well as production facilities –
everything under one single roof. The centralisation of our
activities is not only a key factor for best quality products, but
it also helps to keep the time for new developments short and
assures a continuous supply of all the necessary production
materials. Your local supplier usually has all our standard
parts on stock. The ROSTA company has set up a world-wide
net of representatives (see backpage) which can help you any
time you or your customers need them. Moreover, the ROSTA
company is equipped with modern means of communication

The Company’s History
The ROSTA rubber suspension element designed in 1941
was originally supposed to be a single-wheel suspension
unit in trailor axles. It combined the function of a wheel
spring device, a suspension unit and – due to the inertia of
the rubber – of a vibration absorbing element. Switzerland
was not a typical production place for components for the
automotive industry. That is why ROSTA very soon licensed
various companies from abroad to manufacture axles, and
concentrated on the production of machine components.
Automatic chain tensioners and belt tighteners were the first
mass-produced ROSTA machine components basing on the
same suspension principle. Today ROSTA focuses on the
production of mountings for oscillating screens and guide
bars for charging and conveying troughs. Another major
product line are vibration and oscillation dampers.
