BioLite MultiSpectral Light Source
Easy installation of the BioLite external light
source through the darkroom access port
Epi fiber optic light source supplies uniform
and directed lighting to the animal
Selection of filters or intensity settings via
the software controls to simplify imaging
Matched excitation/emission green fluorescent
protein (GFP) and red fluorescent
protein (RFP) sets included; custom filter
sets are available
Eight excitation filter positions in the BioLite
unit accommodate a variety of filters for
specific applications
Six intensity settings allow adjustments
ranging from 0 to 100% relative intensity,
regulates the amount of illumination
supplied through the fiber optic cable
Automated controls via
software connectivity
Variable intensity settings
Eight position filter selector
Access port for filter
installation
Fiber optic cable and fits
through the darkroom for
directed lighting to the
animal
Excitation and emission filter sets:
Additional standard and custom filter sets available.
Warming Station
The warming station is placed on the darkroom’s
roll-out tray
Regulated to provide optimum animal temperature
during imaging procedures
Includes nose cones attachments when used with
the optional anesthesia unit
halogen light source within the BioLite. Spectral emission is
shown without a filter.
IQ/OQ Documentation
UVP offers Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational
Qualification (OQ) documentation for installation and operation of
the iBox System that will enable researchers to easily comply with
the FDA and other regulatory bodies. The documents integrate
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory
Practice (GLP) requirements for equipment used to produce
image analysis data and are consistent with 21 Code of Federal
Regulations (CFR) Part 11. Contact UVP for information.
