This screen capture shows the BioChemi Camera with functions to set the integration, binning, video features, saturation preview. The unique image compositing feature shown below allows the user to take two or more images and create a composite of the two images. For example, the user may take a white light image of a mouse and a fluorescent image of a mouse. These two images can be used to combine into one composite image that outlines the location of the fluorescence inside the mouse body. Image compositing module enables multiple fluorescent images to be combined to identify the area of interest in the mouse Optional Anesthesia System The optional anesthesia equipment supplies a complete kit for safe anesthetizing of small animals. The components include: Easy-connect, dedicated ports for inlet and outlet isoflurane gas lines. Induction chamber provides a containment unit to quickly anesthetize mice. Once anesthetized, the animal is transferred to the heat controlled warming plate which maintains a constant 37°C for prevention of mouse hypothermia. A pull-out tray holds the warming plate and enables hassle free placement of mice in the darkroom chamber. Nose cones, attached to the warming plate, continue to deliver a consistent supply of isoflurane throughout the imaging procedure. Patented non-rebreathing technology safely prevents backflow of gases into the darkroom.
