E. Hazardous chemicals and dangerous<br />

goods.<br />

Hazardous chemicals include flammable liquids, acids, gases and<br />

solvents. Your Production Risk Assessment should address each<br />

substance, indic<strong>at</strong>ing th<strong>at</strong> it is being used in accordance with<br />

requirements set out in the <strong>Safety</strong> D<strong>at</strong>a Sheet.<br />

– You need prior written approval to bring on site any hazardous<br />

chemical or dangerous good<br />

– You must arrange storage <strong>for</strong> all hazardous chemicals and<br />

dangerous goods<br />

– All gas cylinders (Class 2) containing flammable gas must be<br />

documented in the Production Risk Assessment.<br />

– SOH can reserve the right to refuse the use of any hazardous<br />

chemical in its <strong>venue</strong>s or precinct.<br />

The following are not permitted in SOH:<br />

– Spray painting (you need written approval from us to use pressure<br />

pack cans)<br />

– Fibre glassing<br />

– Cutting of MDF.<br />

F. Paints and solvents.<br />

You need our written permission to use oil-based paints and solvents.<br />

You are responsible <strong>for</strong> taking all oil-based paints, residues and<br />

cleaning m<strong>at</strong>erials off site <strong>for</strong> disposal <strong>at</strong> appropri<strong>at</strong>ely licensed<br />

waste management facilities.
