Exceptions.<br />
The above laws do not apply in rel<strong>at</strong>ion to the following work or<br />
activities, however the Production Risk Assessment must include<br />
full details regarding the assessment and control and supervision<br />
of these risks:<br />
– The per<strong>for</strong>mance of stunt work<br />
– The per<strong>for</strong>mance of acrob<strong>at</strong>ics<br />
– A the<strong>at</strong>rical per<strong>for</strong>mance<br />
– A sporting or <strong>at</strong>hletic activity<br />
– Horse riding.<br />
Fall arrest emergency and rescue procedures.<br />
If you use a fall arrest system as a control measure you must<br />
establish emergency procedures, including rescue procedures,<br />
in rel<strong>at</strong>ion to the use of the fall arrest system.<br />
You must also test the emergency procedures to make sure they<br />
are effective.<br />
You must provide the workers (using the fall arrest system and<br />
involved with the emergency procedures) with in<strong>for</strong>m<strong>at</strong>ion, training<br />
and instructions in rel<strong>at</strong>ion to the emergency procedures.
