Found<strong>at</strong>ion to support and sponsor children competing in the first <strong>World</strong> <strong>Paraplegic</strong> Brazilian Jiujitsu Competition<br />
In conjunction with the Carly Stowell Found<strong>at</strong>ion,<strong>Deus</strong> <strong>Fight</strong> along with Mastre Casquinha Cezar Guimaraes supported a<br />
number of <strong>at</strong>hletes <strong>at</strong>tending the CBPJJ paraplegic Brazilian jiujitsu championship this past S<strong>at</strong>urday, November 29, 2014.<br />
Casquinha Cezar Guimaraes runs Top Brother in Brazil and several affili<strong>at</strong>e non-profits in the favelas. The competition was<br />
exciting and fulfilling for not only the competitors, but for family and friends alike. <strong>Deus</strong> <strong>Fight</strong> was excited to be a part of this<br />
amazing event.
In coming off a holiday like Thanksgiving in the US, it's a gre<strong>at</strong> reminder th<strong>at</strong> there are so many things for people to be thankful<br />
for. <strong>Deus</strong> continues to assist under priviledged children in the poorest areas of Brazil through theirFavela Kids Project. Since<br />
<strong>Deus</strong> could not <strong>at</strong>tend the event in person, they hosted a seminar in Orange County, CA with Jake from Budo Videos to raise<br />
awareness and additional funds for the program.<br />
