SOCKET WELDERS AND ACCESSORIES
These manual workshop/construction site machines and equipment are suitable for the socket
fusion of pipes and fittings in plastic such as Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polypropylene
random (PP-R), Polyvynyldifluoride (PVDF) and Polybutene (PB) for carrying fluids under pressure.
By means of a heat element and calibrated sockets and spigots coated with a non-stick material,
it is possible to make joins for many different applications, such as systems for carrying water for
heating and sanitary use, air or acids in industrial sectors.
MANUAL SOCKET FUSION
The manual equipment is recommended for welding pipes and fittings up to an O.D. of 40 mm,
once manual welding of bigger diameters is quite problematic. However, this equipment can be used
to reach (with some models) even the maximum diameters available, whenever there are special
working requirements.
SOCKET FUSION MACHINES
The manual welders are recommended for welding pipes and fittings with an O.D. of more than
40 mm. Thanks to their particular configuration, these machines are perfectly adapted to maintain
the join alignment between pipe and fitting, so that the welding procedure becomes a quick and
easy task.
