In addition to the $28 million Marvin<br />
I. Danto <strong>Engineering</strong> Development<br />
Center — with 83,000 square feet <strong>of</strong><br />
classroom and laboratory space for<br />
research on fuel cells, nano<strong>technology</strong>,<br />
smart sensors and bioengineering —<br />
the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Engineering</strong> has invested<br />
$1.2 million in new equipment for<br />
its Electric-drive Vehicle <strong>Engineering</strong><br />
and AET programs. A state-<strong>of</strong>-the-art<br />
teaching lab gives students access to<br />
the latest <strong>technology</strong>, allowing them to<br />
apply classroom lessons to experiential<br />
learning.<br />

DEGREE<br />
PROGRAM<br />
The Master <strong>of</strong> Science and Graduate<br />
Certificate programs are open to<br />
students with a bachelor’s degree<br />
in engineering or, with approval,<br />
other mathematics-based sciences. A<br />
minimum GPA <strong>of</strong> 3.0 is required to<br />
enroll in the Master’s program and 2.7<br />
for the Graduate Certificate, although<br />
lower GPAs combined with significant<br />
relevant pr<strong>of</strong>essional experience may be<br />
considered. Admission to the graduate<br />
programs is contingent upon admission<br />
to the WSU Graduate School.
