Affordable Innovation The PAS-853 instrument is a wide range ohmmeter that measures accurately from 0.01 to 1.0x10 12 ohms. In AUTO mode the instrument automatically adjusts resistance range and selects test voltage in accordance with standard practices outlined in ANSI/ESD STM11.11, and meets audit requirements of ESD TR53: ■
Resistance to Ground (Rtg) Simplified Resistance to Ground (Rtg) measurements are required to audit ESD controls such as Floors, Worksurfaces, Chairs, Carts, Shelving and other items. The PAS system makes Rtg measurements very convenient. Simply plug a 2.5 inch PAS fixture into the PAS-853, connect a sensing lead to ground. Place the PAS onto the surface or object to be measured and press the pressure sensing test pad. Measure Floors, Chairs or Carts PAS Packaging Resistance Measurements are EASY! Surface and Volume resistance measurements of Packaging materials per STM 11.11 and STM 11.12 are simplified using the dual function Concentric Ring fixture and supplied test bed.
