Uniform Energy Distribution
SOLARI's sapphire contact point has uniform energy distribution
so that, unlike conventional IPLs with irregular energy distribution,
treatment with SOLARI reduces the incidence of side effects
associated with uneven energy distribution.

maximizes efficiency and reduces treatment time changing
handpieces. Six different cut-off filters are available to

Time Resolved Spectral Distribution
Fluctuating Spectrum vs. Stable Spectrum
Expect a predictable treatment outcome as SOLARI delivers
a very stable spectrum. SOLARI's time resolved spectral
distribution shows no changes over time whereas other
IPLs' time resolved spectral distribution fluctuates greatly.
This will increase the possibility of side effects due to the
highly variable amount of spectral fluctuation during short
millisecond irradiation times.

High Quality Square Pulse
The amount of light emitted from an IPL is proportional to
the current discharge through the flashlamp. In conventional
IPLs, the current discharge over time tends to be rounded
similar to the one illustrated in the left-hand panel: this will
produce uneven energy spikes in the emitted pulse of light.
Without filtering, the energy spikes increase the potential for
unexpected side effects. Lutronic shapes the current discharge
driving the SOLARI's flashlamp to produce a very stable and
flat output, as seen on the right. The shaping creates a pulse
of equally stable light energy, thereby avoiding side effects.
Rapid Repetition Rate
Operation time is important clinics because faster treatment
times provides better patient experiences and enables
physicians better efficiency and higher throughput. SOLARI,
compared to other IPL systems on the market, has a very rapid
repetition rate enabling faster treatment times and better
