Island Camp. They are committed to the same goals expressed by the camp’s founder
over 100 years ago, “...to provide a happy, safe, adventurous summer for boys.” The
camp occupies a small island in a big, clean lake, and the boys and their counselors
live in platform tents without electricity. Each day boys choose two activities (sailing,
rowing, canoeing, kayaking, tennis, swimming, fly-fishing, archery, riflery, woodcraft
and workshop). Over 40 camping trips, ranging from one to six nights and including
hiking, canoeing and kayaking, go out each summer to the lakes, rivers and mountains
of Maine and New Hampshire and to our 90-acre saltwater island.
