of logistics in the international business
environment. Global and pan-European systems
for materials sourcing and product distribution
configure their supply chains to compete in
today’s major trading blocs.
and location and examines the growth of
multinational corporations. The significance of
the international environment for international
business and the implications for competitive
strategies is studied alongside appropriate
organisational forms and methods of market
entry.
Logistics Management
supply chain management, and strategic
management in helping to achieve strategic
advantage. Organisational and management
structures; information; appropriate operational
techniques; and technology, are all considered
as key inputs. Attention is paid to effective
logistics and supply chain management
structures including virtual supply chains.
Managerial Decisions, Change and Diversity
functions of decision making in meeting
managerial and ultimately corporate objectives.
techniques.
Managing Quality and Developing
managers and explores the corporate, strategic
and operational approaches –and associated
