Message from the Chancellor<br />
Welcome to the University of Huddersfield<br />
“The University of Huddersfield has a long and proud history, it can trace its roots back to<br />
1825, but it is very much in touch with the modern world. In fact in many areas it is leading<br />
the way in development and research.<br />
As Chancellor of the University I meet many of our graduates each year. I recently had the<br />
great pleasure of attending a graduation ceremony held in <strong>Hong</strong> <strong>Kong</strong> and meeting students<br />
there. As always, I was impressed by their maturity, professional outlook, and their excitement<br />
about their future plans. I do hope you will consider becoming a Huddersfield student,<br />
