Some piano skills helpful, but not required. 30’s – 40’s Low F – F above middle C Baritone Paul (Cole’s valet) – Attractive, young man. Sensitive actor with some dance skills. F below middle C – High b flat Lyric Tenor Clifton Webb, George Kaufman, Sam Katz, Noel Coward – English soldier, doctor, drunk. Versatile actor with the ability to play debonair and sophisticated, as well as crass. Vocally capable of doing patter songs. 40’s – 50’s A flat below staff – High F on staff Baritone Photographer, others – Dancer-singer with strong skills in tap and jazz A flat below staff – High F on staff Baritone Moss Hart, Beguine Partner – Strong tap, jazz and ballet, with Astaire quality.
