<strong>Snowville</strong><br />
A Blizzard of Fun is Heading Your Way!<br />
Pack your mittens for a frosty, fun-filled trip to <strong>Snowville</strong>.<br />
Our most popular seasonal exhibit is back and cooler than ever!<br />
Starting November 19, every day is a SNOW DAY at <strong>EdVenture</strong>!<br />
Snowy fun awaits in the North Pole. Climb an ice capped mountain,<br />
explore an ice cave, or have a snowball fight with a snowman!<br />
Play a game of ice hockey, get the chills in our Blizzard Booth, or<br />
take a 25ft long ride down Sled Hill! Grab a hold of this wintry<br />
world and create a snow-filled postcard to share with your<br />
friends. Then, flurry over to the South Pole for a mix of more<br />
winter fun. Visit the Antarctic Research Station to observe<br />
penguins, build an ice floe, and learn what life is found in<br />
the Southern Ocean. Hold on to your snow hats folks, this is one<br />
cool winter<br />
experience!<br />

wonderland continues<br />
through February 24th. Free with museum admission.<br />
Farmville!<br />
If you are downtown Columbia and hear a<br />
“moo moo here” and a “baa baa there,”<br />
you’re probably near Farmville! On<br />
November 3, get up-close-and-personal<br />
with farm animals, farm machinery, fresh<br />
produce and local farmers that bring us<br />
the food that keep us healthy every day!<br />
From 10am- 3pm, families will discover what foods and<br />
products are raised right here in South Carolina through unique<br />
hands-on learning experiences. Children will have a good time<br />
participating in The Great Tractor Race, Vegetable Guess, Bees<br />
Buzz and much more! Plant a seed, taste fresh produce, pet farm<br />
animals and learn the art of clogging. This year, Farmville features<br />
the grand opening of three newly redesigned permanent exhibits<br />
in <strong>EdVenture</strong>’s “World of Work” gallery: The Busy Bee Farm,<br />
The Speckled Hen Market and Little Spot Diner. So, round up<br />
your family and come on over to our farm festival.<br />

EDDIE’s Winter Break Camp<br />
is Coming!<br />
When school is out, EDDIE ® s Winter Break Camp is in! Turn your<br />
break into an educational and fun experience at <strong>EdVenture</strong> on<br />
Dec 20-21 and Dec 26-28. Hang out with the world’s largest<br />
child, create arts & crafts, and keep your mind and body moving!<br />
This special week of programming is designed for children ages<br />

Through unique hands-on learning experiences,<br />
children will see the concept of farm to market to<br />
table in action! Get up-close-and-personal with<br />
farm animals, farm machinery, fresh produce and<br />
local farmers who bring us the food that keeps<br />
us healthy. Join us for barnyard games, country<br />
crafts, clogging performances, a petting farm,<br />
