Gun Sails 2007 – What’s new<br />
- Continuation of the 2006 appearance with use of new materials, multi<br />
directional Greytex <strong>and</strong> cross directional Whitex, two extremely<br />
durable <strong>and</strong> light x-ply versions<br />
- Use of x-ply material in the upper panel of the flat water sails, which<br />
significantly improves the durability of that zone, stressed by sail<br />
twisting <strong>and</strong> rolling up.<br />
- New mast sleeve material with a smooth <strong>surf</strong>ace structure eases<br />
insertion of the mast. The colour white is replaced by a cool grey in<br />
<strong>or<strong>de</strong>r</strong> to avoid a fast soiling of the sail.<br />
Additional features such as:<br />
- Convertible Comfort pulley, a trim block with large easy turning stainless<br />
brass rolls which greatly reduce the effort required for sail trimming,<br />
Thermofoam mast foot protector with small mesh pocket for<br />
ITB key or a safety line. The mini battens <strong>and</strong> the clew have been<br />
reengineered completely.<br />
The new features <strong>and</strong> materials give a distinctive character to our<br />
2007 sail line.<br />
