Refund Policy
All MBA (I) students are enrolled as students of ECU and
therefore must abide by ECU policies and procedures. A copy of
these procedures is given in the ACBT Student Handbook.
Once an applicant has accepted an offer of a place at ACBT and
pays tuition fees it means a binding contact has been made
between the two parties and the ECU refund policy applies. A
course is defined as one semester of study in any program at
ACBT. Please refer to the table below:
Weeks 1 – 4 WE
Weeks 5 – 8 W
Weeks 9 – 13 WF
Formal withdrawal within four (4) weeks of
the beginning of the term – one hundred
percent (100%) of the fee will be refunded to
the student. Students will be withdrawn without
academic penalty and their transcript will not
show the unit. However, it will show on the
ECU database as “WE”.
Formal withdrawal from week five of the term – no
refund will be given to a student. Students will be
withdrawn without academic penalty but the unit
will show on the transcript.
Students who do not formally withdraw by week
9 of a 13 week semester will incur an academic
penalty as well as financial penalty. This is
reflected as WF on the student’s transcript, which
means “withdrawn fail”.
