Phase 2 of our Growth Strategy –
Pellivuoma
• Located approximately 15 km west of Kaunisvaara
• The deposit has the potential to make a significant contribution
to the resource tonnage of the Kaunisvaara area
• Potential scenarios include an increase in the production of high grade
concentrate, or an extension of the life of the Kaunisvaara operation in combination
with an increase in production
• Definitive Feasibility Study is underway and is expected to be completed early 2013
Advanced Exploration Properties
Kuervitikko is included in the Hannukainen DFS
Kuervitikko
• Iron Oxide Copper Gold (“IOCG”) deposit similar to Hannukainen which is located only
4 km away from Hannukainen
– Could potentially add additional resources to the Hannukainen mine plan
• Consists of two, and possibly three, gently dipping magnetite-rich lenses
Advanced Exploration Study Targets
Kupari-
Rautuvaara
• Brownfield project situated 7 km to the south of Hannukainen
• Hosts a number of interesting exploration targets including a historical iron ore mine with
remaining mineral resources potential, numerous known IOCG occurrences and unexplored
geographical anomalies
• One of Northland’s major near-Hannukainen mine exploration targets
Rautuoja
• Drilling program consisted of 5 drill holes totaling 1,570 meters
