Directors’ Report (cont.) Year Ended 30 June 2011 Auditor’s Independence Declaration A copy of the auditor’s independence declaration as required under section 307C of the Corporation Act 2001 is set out on page 21. Auditor Details of the amounts paid or payable to PricewaterhouseCoopers for audit and non-audit services provided during the financial year are set out in Note 24. The Board of Directors have considered the position and are satisfied that the provision of non-audit services is compatible with the general standard of independence for auditors imposed by the Corporations Act 2001. The Directors are satisfied that the provision of non-audit services by PricewaterhouseCoopers, did not compromise the auditor independence requirements of the Corporations Act 2001. A copy of the Auditor’s Independence Declaration as required under section 307C of the Corporations Act 2001 is set out on page 21. Auditors Independence Declaration Year Ended 30 June 2011 Auditor’s Independence Declaration As lead auditor for the audit of Bega Cheese Limited for the year ended 30 June 2011, I declare that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, there have been: a. no contraventions of the auditor independence requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 in relation to the audit; and b. no contraventions of any applicable code of professional conduct in relation to the audit.
