Policies and Measures to reduce GHG emissions;
Activities:

Methodologies for GHG emissions inventories;
GHG emissions inventory at local and national level;

International negotiations in UNFCCC context.
Biography:
After a degree in Physics at the University of Pisa and a long activity in the photovoltaic laboratory
at ENEA, I joined the group involved in the international negotiations in the UNFCCC context. My
research strives to find ways and means to reduce GHG emissions. The research on this topic
started with an activity in IPCC focussed on methodologies for GHG emissions inventories, followed
by a European Project on Non Energy Use CO 2 emissions that had the goal of estimating CO 2
emissions in the petrochemical sector. Currently I am a member of the steering group of the “Low
Carbon Society Research Network” (LCS-RNet).
