Objective: Improved project requests.<br />
Synopsis: Tips on developing successful work description, project justification and required information to use in a DD 1391 and cover memo<br />
when seeking project approval.<br />
Session 13 and 14: Work Classification and Relocatable <strong>Facilities</strong><br />
Speaker: Anthony White, PWD, HQ IMCOM<br />
Objective: Increased understanding of work classification and project submittal requirements.<br />
Synopsis: Regulations governing work classification. Examples and situations will be included. Program and project development package<br />
submission requirements will be discussed.<br />
Session 15: <strong>MEDCOM</strong> Sustainability Strategy<br />
Speaker: Cheryl Koshuta, Weston<br />
Objective: Introduce the Vision and Goals of the <strong>MEDCOM</strong> Sustainability Strategy.<br />
Synopsis: Session will introduce the goals and vision of the <strong>MEDCOM</strong> Sustainability<br />
Strategy with emphasis on the triple bottom line: Mission, Environment<br />
and Community.<br />
Session 16: DMLSS-FM Module/Submission Process<br />
Speaker: Rodney Tolbert<br />
Objective: Refresh FM knowledge of project documentation in DMLSS-FM<br />
Synopsis: Provide a timely overview of ACSIE&FM MRR Data Call policy as it applies to project documentation in DMLSS-FM. Review methods<br />
to create projects, associate requirements, process funding, record construction award, and produce management reports. Question and user<br />
input will be encouraged.<br />
Session 17: Real Property Update (Leasing)<br />
Speaker: Deborah Hamlin<br />
Objective: Increase FM’s knowledge of real property leasing requirements and processes.<br />
Synopsis: Presentation will cover the process for requesting a change to the <strong>MEDCOM</strong> baseline inventory; Capitalization Threshold Policy for<br />
Real Property; ISR Mission Support Functional Capability F-Rating; and Leasing.<br />
Session 18: FD Summary of Findings; Panel Discussion<br />
Speaker: Mike Sartori<br />
Objective: Provide opportunity for feedback and clarification of training or strategic issues<br />
Synopsis: A panel of speakers and managers will be convened to answer questions from participants.
