Area of application: distributor cabinet<br />
The <strong>VK</strong> slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong> ensures<br />
tidy cable routing in the distributor cabinet.<br />
Wiring <strong>trunking</strong> installation<br />
The <strong>VK</strong> slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong> is fastened<br />
to the mounting plate of the distributor cabinet<br />
using spreading rivets. The spreading rivets<br />
are installed using the plastic rivet tool.<br />
Break-out of retainers<br />
The retainers are bent outwards. When a bend<br />
angle of approx. 70–80° is exceeded, they<br />
break.<br />
Notching pliers<br />
The side retainers can be removed down to the<br />
base of the <strong>trunking</strong> using the release pliers.<br />
When the side retainers have been broken out,<br />
there is no loss in volume in the transfer area<br />
to the next <strong>trunking</strong>.<br />
Wire retainers<br />
The wire retainers can be adjusted according<br />
to the <strong>trunking</strong> width. To do this, simply break<br />
off the wire retainer at the predetermined<br />
breaking points. This means that just one wire<br />
retainer is necessary for any <strong>trunking</strong> width.<br />
Wire retainer installation<br />
The wire retainer is inserted into the side slot of<br />
the <strong>VK</strong> slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong>. This simplifies<br />
cable installation and keeps the cables<br />
in place in the <strong>VK</strong> slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong>.<br />
It also guarantees easy attachment of the<br />
cover. If installations are required at a later<br />
date, then, when the cover is removed, the cables<br />
are held in the <strong>trunking</strong> and do not fall out.<br />
Wire holding lugs<br />
In the N versions, there is a holding lug on the<br />
side retainer, allowing fixing of the cables in the<br />
<strong>VK</strong> slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong>.<br />
Spacer installation<br />
The spacer allows raised installation of the <strong>VK</strong><br />
slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong> above the mounting<br />
plate.<br />
Cover contour LK4<br />
True to size processing enables easy mounting<br />
and removal of the cover, despite a firm cover<br />
fit.<br />
Spacer installation<br />
The spacers can be connected one on top of<br />
the other to allow greater distance to<br />
the mounting plate. This allows a certain<br />
amount of height variation for any cables to be<br />
routed behind the <strong>VK</strong> <strong>wiring</strong> <strong>trunking</strong> <strong>system</strong>.<br />
Cover contour LKV<br />
The special cover contours also guarantee a<br />
perfect fit on the LKV slotted cable <strong>trunking</strong><br />
<strong>system</strong>.<br />
Base perforation<br />
Single and dual-track base perforation to DIN<br />
43659 enable precise work.<br />
