Day Two<br />
9 th Dhul-Hijjah<br />
On the n<strong>in</strong>th day of Dhul-Hijjah (Yawm-e-Arafah), after<br />
pray<strong>in</strong>g Salaatul-Fajr <strong>in</strong> M<strong>in</strong>a, the pilgrim waits until just<br />
after sunrise, then he/she heads out of M<strong>in</strong>a to pla<strong>in</strong> of<br />
Arafat which he/she should enter around noon. In Arafat<br />
he/she prays Zuhr and Asr prayers together with one<br />
Adhaan and two Eqamahs at the commencement of Zuhr<br />
time. He/she should then wait <strong>in</strong> Arafat until just after<br />
sunset (approx. 10 m<strong>in</strong>utes after sunset), then set out to<br />
Mash'ar or Muzdalifah (an area between Arafat and M<strong>in</strong>a).<br />
Postpone the maghriba<strong>in</strong> prayers at Arafat to pray them<br />
together at Mash'ar with one Adhaan and two Eqamahs,<br />
and then spend the rest of the night <strong>in</strong> sleep. Also one<br />
should pick up 70 pebbles (stones) for throw<strong>in</strong>g at the<br />
Jamaraat <strong>in</strong> M<strong>in</strong>a. You are allowed to collect these stones<br />
from M<strong>in</strong>a too.<br />
Day of Arafah<br />
NOTE: Accord<strong>in</strong>g to the above picture you don’t need to<br />
go to the mounta<strong>in</strong>, you should stay <strong>in</strong> your tent with your<br />
team otherwise you may get lost. Perform Salah and make<br />
Du’aa from your tent.<br />
