A Kids Scuba session with the Scuba<br />

Rangers program will be conducted<br />

every second Sunday on September 5,<br />

19 and 26 in 2010. It will be held at the<br />

Naerum (Rundvorbi) Sports Complex. The<br />

Kids Scuba Denmark program was assisted<br />

by the SSI Nordic Region, Kids Scuba<br />

Malaysia, Hana Sea Sports and Oceanic<br />

Dive Consultant.<br />

About the program<br />

Kids Scuba Denmark is the first awardwinning<br />

certified SSI (Scuba School<br />

International) Scuba Rangers Club dedicated<br />

to conducting SSI Scuba Rangers<br />

courses for children ages 8-12 in the<br />

Nordic region. The school was founded<br />

and organised in Denmark by Visser, a<br />

qualified SSI Scuba Rangers Instructor<br />

who did his training<br />

for three<br />

years as a Scuba<br />

Rangers Instructor<br />

in Malaysia.<br />

Children are<br />

exposed to basic<br />

scuba education,<br />

snorkeling<br />

techniques and<br />

elementary scuba<br />

diving skills, graduating<br />

to beach<br />

and shallow dives<br />

during organized<br />

Kids Scuba<br />

Camps, which will<br />

be held in June<br />

and July 2011. Kids<br />

Scuba Denmark<br />

integrates care<br />

and conservation<br />

<strong>of</strong> marine life<br />

in all its materials<br />

imparted to all its<br />

students as part <strong>of</strong><br />

its programme.<br />

Kids Scuba Denmark<br />

will organize a number<br />

<strong>of</strong> camps to the various<br />

dive destinations in the tropical climate<br />

and warm waters <strong>of</strong> Asia with the cooperation<br />

<strong>of</strong> Kids Scuba Malaysia, which<br />

organizes camps four times per year<br />

at the beautiful marine park islands <strong>of</strong><br />

Malaysia and Borneo.<br />

Success for the Scuba Rangers<br />

and Kids Scuba Camp at Mabul<br />

Sipadan Island in Sabah Malaysia<br />

in December <strong>of</strong> 2009 and the<br />
