event of an accident. <strong>The</strong> vehicle also has energy<br />
- absorbing crumple zones and reinforced<br />
doors. <strong>The</strong> raised floor level complements the<br />
integral safety concept which is designed to protect<br />
you as far as possible from severe shocks<br />
and jolts in the event of an accident. Protective<br />
features for your head and neck include adaptive<br />
airbags and NECK - PRO head restraints which<br />
automatically move towards your head to actively<br />
prevent the risk of whiplash injuries.<br />
Windowbags are fitted as standard for the front<br />
and rear occupants while sidebags are provided<br />
for the front - seat occupants. Crash - absorbing<br />
elements in the driver’s footwell are also standard<br />
– as is our sincere hope that you never find<br />
yourself in a situation where these protective<br />
features have to be deployed.
