STANDARD CABIN FILTER
ACTIVE CARBON FILTER
Standard cabin filters from Bosch absorb up to 100% of all
pollen, dust and harmful substances.
This results in a noticeable improvement in the inside air.
The standard cabin filter is assembled from three layers
of fibres which are tailored to each other and contains
electrostacically woven micro-fibres in the middle layer. As a
result of the electrostatic charge, even the smallest particles
are attracted by the fibres and filtered out of the air.
The basic construction of the active carbon cabin filter is
similar to that of the standard cabin filter. An additional
layer of active carbon absorbs harmful and foul smelling
gases such as ozone, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide
and hydrocarbons. Standard cabin filters can be easily
replaced by Bosch active carbon cabin filters of the same
construction without any modifications to the vehicle.
