Memorable
Moments
The CBI's history of the last
over 47 years is overcrowded
with memorable moments. How
come Simple : an organization
that does the type of work/duty
that it does, maintains its credibility
a n d r e l e va n c e a n d g e n e r a t e s
confidence in the minds and hearts
of its people to such an extent as it does
and that too, with limited resource –
men, money and material – is
sure to have such moments in such a
measure.
To portray all these historic
moments in words would, obviously,
require a volume or two, and in pictures
many more. In view of space constraint,
however, we take a few important
moments only to show what place the
organization occupies in the national
esteem.
Someone has rightly said that the memorable
moments are woven into pearl, like droplets of water
spoiling the lakes of emotions. These moments are
cherished by every member of the organization
and even though he or she may not have been a
part of it, then it connects the old to the present,
and takes one down the memory lane and through
it to the story of the formation and evolution
of the organization. Visits of the distinguished
leaders and other eminent personalities, the seminars
and the conferences, the fusions of professional
challenge and joy of being part of a big family,
the celebration of festivals together and the pains
of tidious, tiring investigations, these moments are
indeed shooting stars, a spectacular moments of light
in the heavens.
