The <strong>HALFEN</strong> <strong>HSC</strong> Stud Connector is a special<br />

reinforcement designed to provide powerful<br />

and economic connections of corbels to<br />

columns.<br />

Advantages<br />

<strong>HSC</strong> - an efficient connection<br />

• replaces conventional, complicate loop reinforcement<br />

in corbels.<br />

• Time saving installation due to simple reinforcement<br />

design and reduced amount of steel.<br />

• Easy to install without special tools.<br />

Both monolithic and subsequently concreted corbels<br />

• By combining with HBS-05 screw connections corbels<br />

can also be concreted subsequently.<br />

• Cost-effective formwork and reduced expenditure of<br />

production time due to simple geometry.<br />

Approvals and Standards<br />

• Dimensioning of <strong>HSC</strong> and HBS-05 based on<br />

DIN 1045-1 and EC2.<br />

• German Certificates of Approval by DIBt for <strong>HSC</strong> (No.<br />

Z-1.5-204) and for HBS-05 (No. Z-1.5-189).<br />

• Rectangular geometry of the anchor head patented.<br />

Technology<br />

• 100% bearing capacity for tension and compression<br />

loads due to fully applicable anchoring - load transfer<br />

by bearing pressure below head.<br />

• Applicable also for loads that are not predominantly<br />

static. Anchor heads can be oriented horizontally and<br />

vertically for optimum adaptation to space conditions.<br />
